- About Aktaion
- Aktaion stands in the tradition of the humanistic design approach. Because I strongly believe that this offers the best reading comfort in the sanserif genre. Aktaion consists of 8 weights plus their corresponding italics. It covers all Latin script based languages, comes with OpenType feature sets as e. g. for tabular, proportional lining or small figures (the default figures are proportional lining figures), for uppercase variants, for arbitrary fractions or for full lowercase superior & inferior letters & figures. The letters are detailed with contrasting sharp edges and rounded corners, with stems having one straight side and one side with a concave shape resulting in a gripping tension.
