Font Choice Matters

Every typeface has its own voice. Some speak to time and place, while others communicate emotions from comedic or conservative to heavenly utopia or hellish nightmare — and everything in between.

When fonts have voices they have personalities too — there are the introvert fonts that prefer to stay in the background (text fonts or fonts for reading), and then there are fonts desperately vying for attention. The voice you choose depends on both your message and how you wish to convey it. Is it serious or frivolous, earnest or urgent, frenzied or measured, factual or fictitious?
