Script fonts
A broad category of fonts encompassing everything from the very formal calligraphic Copperplate and Spencerian scripts through to an almost infinite number of less formal scripts differentiated by the tools originally used to write or engrave them. From brush and neon scripts reminiscent of 1950s USA to fine and flourished scripts frequently used in everything from office newsletters to wedding invites and menus for fancy restaurants. Other scripts blur the line between script and handwriting fonts. Common to almost all script fonts is their cursiveness, the feeling that they are not constructed but flow from the the hand.
