Copperplate fonts

Copperplate script is a hyper-formal shaded calligraphic script that is nowadays used as an umbrella term to describe a number of related scripts, including roundhand and engrosser’s script. Copperplate script fonts are typically characterized by relatively high contrast (except in Business Script) and often come with many alternative letterforms, swash forms, and flourishes. They are used for luxury brands, on wedding and other formal invitations, on restaurant menus, in logos — often appearing in places where a certain gravitas is called for.
