- Balto takes the quirky, yet beloved, American Gothic typeface style, reduces it to its conceptual ideal and then builds upon that ideal to create a hard-working 21st century typographic tool. It was designed to give messages a confident tone of voice without calling attention to itself. It features a wide range of weights, each in roman and italic and each with an extensive range of sorts necessary for high-quality typography. It functions equally well in sizes from tiny to giant while on screen, in print and just about anywhere else.
