- About Le Monde Journal Std
- Le Monde Journal by definition is intended for newspaper use and at small sizes. It is an economic and workhorse typeface adapted to any extreme usage condition. Le Monde Journal reading flow has been made more fluent and less abrupt. The glyphs counters are bigger, as if they were “illuminating the interior.” Their form characterized by serifs remains embedded in our visual memory. Italics accompanying Le Monde Journal, are a more delicate design. When Italics are used with Romans a distinctive rhythm is noticeable. Its companion Le Monde Sans can extend your typographic palette.
