- About AW Conqueror Sans
- AW Conqueror Sans was born out of a desire to fuse geometric and humanistic sans. The core set of capitals are based on the proportions of the Roman capitals like Futura, Erbar, Nobel, Johnston, Gill Sans. Looking at some of the glyphs, “b, d, p, q” influenced by Eric Gill, “y” by Jan Tschichold, “a” by Erbar and Futura. AW Conqueror Sans is the starting point for an extended family, including AW Conqueror Inline, Slab, Carved, and Didot. These mixed families are powerful because they share a similar structure and proportions. They’re a great toolbox for easy-to-use titling and text for graphic designers and enthusiasts of all skill levels. All AW Conqueror variants can be used harmoniously.
