- About Shelf
- Shelf is a humanist sans-serif typeface with a cool, rational character. Its restrained form draws inspiration from the landscape of ice shelves, a reference also reflected in the name of the typeface. Shelf was designed for clear visual information systems where legibility, order and calm guidance are essential. Its proportions, letter construction and extensive character set make it suitable for both long-form text and projects that require a clear hierarchy of information. Shelf works well in exhibition identities, wayfinding systems, accompanying publications and other contexts where typography needs to organise content and support user orientation.
