- About Chikki
- Inspired by the snap of the Chikki (an Indian, brittle-like sweet), this funky typeface family is created with only straight lines and no curves but a lot of texture and warmth! Chikki supports Devanagari, Gurmukhi, and extended Latin and has six weights ranging from Light to Black that allow for greater typographic control, legibility, and hierarchy at any size. While Chikki is primarily a display design, the letterforms and spacing have been clearly refined and optimized to work also at small sizes and to be clear for reading longer amounts of text. Chikki also comes with a first of its kind variable Devanagari and Gurmukhi font!
