About Proxima Nova
Proxima Nova bridges the gap between typefaces like Futura and Akzidenz Grotesk. The resulting hybrid combines modern proportions with a geometric appearance. Originally released in 1994 as Proxima Sans (now discontinued), Proxima Nova expands the original six fonts (three weights with italics) into a full-featured and versatile family of forty-eight fonts (eight weights in three widths with italics). Proxima Nova has gained enormous popularity as a webfont, and is now seen on thousands of sites around the world.
