About LD Moderne Antiqua
Kai Büschl’s first thoughts on modern style type go back to his student days. Inspired by the typographic combinations of the era of industrialisation, LD Moderne Antiqua was created as part of a system. The LD Moderne Antiqua family is designed as a group of six weights, each with a dedicated italic. It offers Pan-European language support, six figure sets, small caps, fractions and much more. Along LD Grotesk and LD Moderne Slab, LD Moderne Antiqua completes the LD Moderne type system. This super family offers a total of 51 individual fonts, ranging from Display to Caption styles, and from linear, upright Grotesk fonts to elegant, classic italics – prepared for any typographic setting!
