- Apocalypso's name [from apocalypse -the end of the world, and calypso -joyful improvised music] is analogous to ‘fiddling while Rome burns’. The pictograms and crosses are considered an art project more than a practical font, yet the crosses add decorative detailing to typographic layouts, while the pictograms can be used to great effect on t-shirts or for other graphic matter. Apocalypso is a document of our time and a scarily prophetic vision of our dystopian future.
