About Weathersbee Sans
Do we really need another sans-serif text font? Maybe, maybe not, but I made one. Developed out of a desire for my own workhorse text face & also taking cues from my display type inklings, my eponymous font can do a lot very credibly. There’s almost too much variability. Almost. If you look closely, you’ll find a wide range of influences, from the deep cuts of House’s Paperback to the quirk of Mark Simonson’s Proxima Nova, to even the raw lines of Base Sans. And yes, I did just list the three most influential fonts in my own design career. I have tried to infuse features of some of these, among many other faces in creating what I’m proud to call by my name.
