About Gurky Grotesque
Gurky Grotesque is a type family consisting of 12 fonts, ranging from ExtraLight to Black. It is reminiscent of old metal type, favoring quirky imperfections over smooth curves. We went on a search for character and unique solutions to bring back the charm of vernacular type and the appeal of imperfection. In contrast to big type systems without irregularities, Gurky Grotesque embraces its inconsistencies and its edginess. It comes with a comprehensive character set and modern OpenType features.
