- Designed specifically for use in office communication the Interpol Correspondence is mimicking the letterforms familiar from old-fashioned typewriters. Glyphs that naturally tend to be wider like W or M are very condensed while the naturally narrow glyphs like i or l are as wide as they can be without disrupting the reader's flow. All sharp inside corners have liberal ink traps to keep counters from filling in. These genre stapels are not only very useful in the intended application of Interpol Correspondence but they also offer a dynamic and contemporary stylistic distinction that makes this typeface fit for use in display sizes.
