- About Maxular
- Maxular Rx by Steven Skaggs is the first type expressly designed and scientifically proven to address Macular Degeneration (MD) visual related distortions. Serifs aid in separating one letter from another for those with MD and corners are rounded to avoid distortion effects. Wider letters, word spacing and increased line space project the glyphs clearly into peripheral vision for easier recognition. In addition to the Maxular Rx versions, six weights plus italics intended for general use are available. Every font in the Maxular family has a repertoire of over 700 glyphs supporting 222 languages. A useful set of arrows and a handful of fun alternate glyphs in the italics are also included.
