- Originally conceived as a revival of Louvaine by Morris Fuller Benton, Louvette evolved into a wide-ranging suite in four optical sizes across 40 styles that all work together in concert while each still maintains a distinct role. The sharp, stylish, modern serif is ideal for publications, cultural institutions, exhibitions, and fashion—anywhere that strong gestures and delicate details are paramount. Louvette’s four optical sizes allow for flexible typesetting for use in a wide range of sizes. Banner has ultra thin hairlines and tighter spacing; Text has thicker hairlines and generous spacing with longer descenders to elegantly fill space.
