About Ocre Serif
Ocre is a robust type system that resulted from an exploration on contrast between soft outer shapes and sharp inner shapes. It's relatively large x-height, robust serifs and low contrast make it a reliable choice even at smaller sizes, where the sharp inner shapes act as ink traps increasing the overall legibility. This type system would not be complete without a display version. Ocre Poster, a special version bursting with personality. In this version the contrast between outer and inner shapes is even more accentuated, particularly in the italics, for enhanced character. Ocre Poster comes with swash versions and a different set of opentype features particularly designed for display sizes.
